MENTZEL GEO. R MENTZEL, aged 25.
Rest, brother, rest! No more will thou be weary;
Thy hand will labor no more with ours,
For thou has found that land that grows not weary,
Where fade not flowers!
Rest, loved one, rest! rest evermore from sorrow,
Rest evermore from labor, sin and care.
Where life is one long day that brings no morrow,
Rest, brother, there!
Rest, brother, rest! thy eyes have ceased from weeping,
